Keith Haring (1958–1990) emerged as one of the leading figures in 1980s American contemporary art with his playful works featuring humans, dogs, and other motifs rendered in simple yet vibrant lines.
This exhibition features approximately 150 pieces, including paintings, prints, sculptures, and posters. It also highlights works inspired by Haring’s activities in Japan. The collection is primarily sourced from the Nakamura Keith Haring Collection in Yamanashi Prefecture—the first museum in the world dedicated exclusively to Haring’s works.
