On the brisk autumn day of October 28th, amid the rustling leaves carried by a refreshing breeze, the 15th Nakamura Keith Haring Collection International Children’s Drawing Contest held its award ceremony🏆
This year, 17 pieces were handpicked as winning entries by a panel of nine judges from a pool of 1,271 submissions, spanning 21 countries and regions.
The recipients in attendance were graciously presented with trophies and bouquets by the judges 💐
Keith Haring, who left this world at the young age of 31 due to complications from AIDS 33 years ago, left behind a legacy of creating art with children worldwide, leaving numerous works in pediatric hospitals and orphanages. We continue to uphold his legacy, hosting this contest under the belief that “children possess the freedom to hold dreams and aspirations for the future“ 🕊️
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the young artists who generously shared their splendid creations with our museum this year.
Information regarding next year’s competition will be disseminated around April📢
Please anticipate it with great excitement!
