On October 29, 2022, Nakamura Keith Haring Collection held the 14th International Children’s Drawing Contest Award Ceremony, and 10 out of 28 contest winners attended the ceremony to receive the trophies from the judges. Congratulations to all the artists with their winning works!
The 28 artworks are now on display from October 29 to November 6 in the Room of Hope at Nakamura Keith Haring Collection. Please enjoy the powerful works that these artists created. After the award ceremony, the children joined each other for our sea-forest creature mask-making workshop, learning about the connection between the sea and forest. Those of you, both winners and judges, who could not join us for the ceremony, you were truly missed, but we received your video comments. Lastly, it was a surprise and pleasure to receive such fantastic works from children in Ukraine under such tragic circumstances. We are with the people of Ukraine and hope that soon war will be over, and peace will be restored. Please take a look at their great works at the end of the video.
