Open to children ages 4 to 17, the 9th Nakamura Keith Haring Collection International Children’s Contest will be held by the Nakamura Keith Haring Collection. In 2009, this worldwide contest was first started in hopes of helping children express themselves freely by drawing and in recent years, submissions have surpassed 1,000. Each year, we ask contestants to create under one theme. The theme of this year’s is harmony. We ask children from all over the world what harmony means to them. This annual contest also is the only drawing competition officially recognized by the Keith Haring Foundation and every year, we invite special guest judges from various fields in many countries.
