Today, December 1st, is #WorldAIDSDay.
World AIDS Day is a commemorative day established to end the HIV epidemic and eliminate discrimination and prejudice associated with HIV/AIDS.
From December 1 to 20, join us to learn about the history of HIV/AIDS with a special showcase!
🌍 Haring Posters & Materials Exhibition: Featuring the 1989 “Stop AIDS” poster and other HIV/AIDS-related works and materials, displayed for the first time in the museum’s open space. A timeline of AIDS history is also included. Entry is free, so feel free to stop by 🏃♀️
❤️ Free Condoms
In support of safe sex awareness, we’re giving away 500 free condoms thanks to our partner, Sagami Rubber Industries @sagami_rubber (while supplies last).
🛍️ We are selling items created by Haring himself during his lifetime for HIV/AIDS prevention and awareness, HIV/AIDS-related books, and original merchandise from ACT UP (AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power), a political activist organization founded in New York in 1987 to respond to the AIDS crisis.
🐻❄️ Pop-Up Shop in Kagoshima City
From December 20 to 25, stop by @luck_kagoshima_ in Kagoshima City for Haring-themed merch that supports the HIV/AIDS community.
Let’s honor Haring’s message and take a moment to reflect on HIV/AIDS together.
